Atom Jiu Jitsu in Abu Dhabi

A milestone trip for Atom Jiu Jitsu

From 12 to 22 November, Atom Jiu Jitsu travelled to Abu Dhabi for the Jiu Jitsu World Championships. For our academy, this trip was a big step in our growth and in our international ambitions. We arrived with 27 motivated athletes: kids, teens and adults, all ready to test themselves on a global stage. The venue, the lights and the organisation created an atmosphere our team will never forget.

Learning from every single match

First, the championship gave our competitors a chance to feel real pressure. They had to manage nerves, follow a clear game plan and adapt to many different styles. Each fight became a short but intense lesson. As a result, our coaches came back with many notes about strategy, grips, timing and preparation.
Now we are already using this experience in our classes in Cairo. We drill smarter, review video together and set more precise goals for each belt level.

Inspiring the next generation

In addition, this journey has had a strong impact on the younger members of Atom. They saw their teammates walk onto the mats with confidence and respect. Because of that, many kids now dream of competing abroad one day. Our role as coaches is to turn that dream into a clear path: regular training, discipline and a supportive team culture.

If you want to understand the level of international events, you can visit the official AJP Tour website. Then come back to the mats with us and start building your own story in jiu-jitsu. Finally, whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced competitor, our kids and adults programmes can help you grow on and off the tatami. With consistent training, you could one day represent Atom at future Jiu Jitsu World Championships and other major events.
