Bilal Abu Yahya Gold Medal in France
Bilal Abu Yahya gold medal in France is another proud result for Atom Jiu Jitsu and a beautiful story for our whole team. This weekend, Bilal Abu Yahya NSELE won gold at a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition in France, showing once again that hard work, courage and consistency can lead to great results.
A bigger challenge, a stronger result
What makes this achievement even more impressive is the way Bilal chose to compete. He voluntarily moved up a weight category to challenge himself against bigger opponents. Instead of choosing the easier path, he accepted the test, trusted his jiu-jitsu and still finished on top of the podium.
Winning gold is already difficult. However, winning gold after moving up in weight shows a special mindset. It shows confidence, discipline and the desire to keep growing, even when the challenge becomes harder. That is exactly the spirit we want to build at Atom Jiu Jitsu.
More than a competitor
Bilal is not only an athlete. Many people in our academy know him as one of the dedicated parents who regularly supports our team during competitions. He is always present for the kids, helping, encouraging and sharing his experience with the younger generation.
He also helps as a coach, guiding and mentoring young athletes during their development. His presence around the team is valuable because he understands both sides of competition: the pressure of stepping on the mats and the responsibility of supporting others.
Father and son champions
Bilal is also the father of Yahya, one of Atom’s young champions. Seeing both father and son succeed on the competition mats is a powerful example for our academy. It shows that jiu-jitsu can be more than a sport. It can become a family journey built on discipline, trust and shared goals.
At Atom, we are proud to see champions being built across generations. Of course, medals matter. Yet the values behind the medals matter even more: commitment, humility, effort and the courage to keep showing up.
An inspiration for the whole Atom team
This Bilal Abu Yahya gold medal is more than an individual victory. It is an inspiration for our kids, our adults and every parent who supports the team from the side of the mats.
Congratulations Bilal. Your achievement in France is a strong example of leadership, hard work and family spirit. We are proud to have you as part of the Atom Jiu Jitsu family.
